The Childhood League Center

Columbus, Ohio

M+A Architects

The Childhood League Center provides innovative education for young children with special needs. The new facility greatly expands the school’s programming to continue its mission. The new campus increases the number of children served by 57 percent with future expansions possible. Unique aspects of this building include spaces that feel like a home, spaces that support large gatherings, small encounters and solitude when peace is desired and a ‘Creative World’ studio, that includes a ‘city park gym’ with several fitness stations, an art studio rich in natural materials and a performance/dance area. The school focuses on an innovative, multi-sensory approach to learning.
