Overview
Columbus’ CSCC space-frame pedestrian bridge is more than a structural phenomenon — it’s a world-class work of art. Nearly 1,800 steel tubes, varying in length from three to nine feet each, are meticulously calculated together by 680 connector nodes to create a one-of-a-kind, visible and artistic structure in a busy, urban setting across a high traffic state route. The bridge is a highly-trafficked structural and visual masterpiece for Columbus’ skyline.
